Ray Losito is a senior citizen who, with his wife Carine, has raised 5 children. They have also taken two teenagers into their family at one time. He has coached various sports for over 35 years in both Canada and the US. He has also been associated with various charitable organizations. Both he and his wife sing with the Choeur symphonique de Sherbrooke. He has studied in Canada, the US and Europe and has edited three books on one aspect of hematology. Just before retiring, at the age of 66, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in studio art from the University of Vermont. He now paints full time! His paintings, done in oil and acrylique in an 'impressionist' style, capture wonderfully the spirit of our region. Ray will give all profits from sales to Fondation Caritas Estrie.

Ray Losito et sa conjointe Carine ont élevé cinq enfants et accueilli deux adolescents dans leur famille. Entraîneur sportif dévoué pendant plus de 35 ans auprès des jeunes, bénévole pour divers organismes de charité, membre du Choeur symphonique de Sherbrooke, il a fait ses études au Canada, aux États-Unis, et en Europe. Spécialiste en hématologie, il est l'auteur d'une étude sur ce sujet et l'éditeur de deux autres. Avant de prendre sa retraite à 66 ans, il a obtenu un B.A. en Arts plastiques de l'Université du Vermont et depuis, il se consacre à temps plein à la peinture! Peints à l'huile et à l'acrylique dans le style «impressionniste», ses tableaux captent bien l'esprit pittoresque de notre région. Ray Losito remettra tous ses profits de la vente à la Fondation Caritas Estrie.
