This show will be made up of equal parts landscape and portraiture, in an effort to reflect a cross section of my artistic output in the past few years. I find inspiration in the surroundings in which I live: urban landscapes which compliment and contrast the Townships scenes that I still paint. Included will be portraits featuring some of the colourful citizens of North Hatley. Inspiring as our part of the world is, I have an equal desire to paint the places and people from areas of our planet where a peaceful existence is not a reality. |

Cette exposition est composée de mes deux préoccupations artistiques: paysages et portraits. Je m'inspire de ce qui m'entoure: la ville où je vis et les Cantons de l'Est où je vivais. Et j'inclus des portraits de quelques résidants pittoresques de North Hatley. Ce pays m'inspire beaucoup, bien sûr, mais j'aime aussi explorer ces coins de la planète où les habitants n'ont pas le loisir d'une vie tranquille. |
