As a member of Canada’s First
Nations, Ena’s rich cultural heritage plays an important role in the
way she portrays her art. Working entirely by hand and using wood as
her medium, she applies a technique called woodcut. Her unique work
expresses a deep love and spiritual connection to the land. Vibrant
colors speak of the beauty of nature while hidden animalistic forms in
her art reflect her Native spirituality.
