As a member of Canada’s First Nations, Ena’s rich cultural heritage plays an important role in the way she portrays her art. Working entirely by hand and using wood as her medium, she applies a technique called woodcut. Her unique work expresses a deep love and spiritual connection to the land. Vibrant colors speak of the beauty of nature while hidden animalistic forms in her art reflect her Native spirituality.

Where Eagles Soar 		D’origine amérindienne, Ena exprime à travers son art la richesse de son héritage culturel. Elle utilise une technique particulière de découpage de bois entièrement exécutée à la main. Ses œuvres témoignent autant d’un amour profond pour la nature que d’un attachement spirituel à la terre. Alors que des couleurs intenses et vibrantes nous révèlent la beauté de l’univers, des formes animales cachées se dévoilant lentement à nos yeux nous permettent de saisir un tant soit peu la spiritualité des Premiers Nations.
